HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!
And once again we are into the Holidays season! I must admit, I still can’t decide whether my favorite time of the year is around this time or summer? What do you think? Let me know…
While you are in the thinking mood, let me get you thinking on something else: How many different colors do you think we have in our jewelry? When you look around our website and our products, do you really, but really appreciate the different shades of the same color we might have? Well, I personally didn’t until one of our artists made me aware of it. He told me that he was after a certain shade of pink and he had to work for weeks before he could actually get the right heat, right timing and the right color mix. There is still not an exact “recipe” shall we call it so every time he tries to get that color, it is a new challenge for him. Check out products like candy like evil eye pendants and Double sided pendants to see the pink I’m talking about. And remember, by the time you read this newsletter those products might already be sold and taken off the website, so hurry! (If that happens, just e-mail me at newsletter@aleynajewelry.com)
There can be such big differences in color by changing the mixture of colors just a bit. It makes me think that there are almost an infinite number of colors available to us! Combine that with the expanding number of models we have and talk about diversity! That’s why we think it is very important that you get the exact product that you see on our website – that exact item can never be produced for a second time. And that is why our jewelry is as unique as you are!
I’ll tell you more stories I hear from our artists in our future issues. For now, let’s get back to our Christmas mood, shall we?
I’m sure you have a lot of gift ideas for your mom, dad, bro, sis, grandma, grandpa, aunt, uncle, cousin, nephew, etc etc etc… (Although those of you who could use some help should wait till our next issue!) What if you work with a large group of colleagues? You naturally spend more than half your day with them and you are all like family now. You would very much like to give them some presents but you are on a budget. What do you do? Here is what my friend did: My friend Sarah is an actress. She is currently working in a production in West End, London. Sarah has been rehearsing for months now. Imagine working towards a very specific goal with a group of colleagues with a very demanding director! They are more than family for each other by now, believe me! Their premiere is right after Christmas. Sarah was looking for a way to say “Merry Christmas& break a leg” to the others. I suggested that she gives them evil eve pendants both as a good luck charm for the play and the new year! Nowadays, she is trying to find out what her friends’ favorite colors are – we have a lot to choose from so none of her friends’ pendants will be exactly the same. Because she has a limited budget, we will choose pendants under Evil eye pendants which are between 10-16 dollars. I’m sure everyone will love their pendant!
Let me know if you think you might want to do something similar for your colleagues or group of friends. E-mail me at newsletter@aleynajewelry.com . I might be telling your story here next time ;)
